C-23 South Reservoir Project
The C-23 South Reservoir Project in St. Lucie County is a critical water management and flood control facility designed as a high hazard earthen embankment dam. The project includes construction of a large-capacity reservoir, perimeter embankments, seepage control features, canals, pump stations, and multiple water control structures to support regional drainage and storage needs.
H2R provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services in support of project development. Services contributed to evaluation of subsurface conditions and material performance associated with embankment construction and related infrastructure. The project plays a key role in enhancing water storage capacity and improving resiliency within the C-23 drainage basin.
