PortMiami Cruise Berths 1–6 Vibration Monitoring System

The PortMiami Cruise Berths 1–6 project involves development of a remote vibration monitoring system to support planned berth improvements and assess performance of existing bulkhead infrastructure at one of the world’s busiest cruise ports. The system provides baseline data to evaluate vessel loading and wave-induced effects on aging waterfront structures as part of future capital improvement planning.

H2R provided design, installation, and ongoing servicing of a comprehensive remote vibration monitoring system consisting of 30 distributed three-axis sensors. The system includes cloud-based data storage, automated reporting, and real-time monitoring capabilities utilizing 5G connectivity and independent solar power with extended battery backup. The fully self-contained system required no utility tie-ins and was installed entirely by H2R, providing a scalable and efficient solution for long-term infrastructure monitoring.
