Brickell City Centre is a $1.05 billion shopping and mixed-use project that will span four blocks to the west of Brickell Avenue and to the south of the Miami River in Dade County, Florida. This Project Example demonstrates the trust and faith H2R Corp staff has earned through our commitment to responsiveness, innovation, and quality; resulting in repeat clients. H2R Corp staff also provided augercast pile inspection services, from logging the steel reinforcement, to inspection of grout placement, to sampling of the grout and associated laboratory testing. H2R has been involved in unique tests such as cement content obtained from soil samples to assess suitability of re-use as fill. The mix designs often created an extremely high volume of unconfined breaks, which H2R was able to handle by working seven days a week. Verification cores were challenging for a number of reasons, including limited space in which H2R equipment could operate.

H2R Corp provided general geotechnical field services for a soil plug being constructed by Malcolm Drilling, supporting mix designs, performed drilling services and wireline coring of the low strength material, rebar inspections, soil mix wet grab sampling, laboratory testing, and other geotechnical analysis in support of the excavation.
