Lake Manatee Dam Phase II Repairs

The Lake Manatee Dam Phase II Repairs project in Manatee County involved critical rehabilitation efforts to restore structural integrity and extend the service life of a key regional water supply facility. Work focused on remediation of subsurface voids beneath the spillway and training walls, soil densification, and installation of pressure-relief systems to mitigate internal erosion and improve overall dam performance.

H2R provided geotechnical field support services including drilling, coring, and borehole logging in support of construction activities. Services included high-quality core recovery, CCTV borehole inspections, daily field documentation, and coordination with contractor teams to meet safety, schedule, and quality requirements. H2R also supported instrumentation-related activities and brought prior project knowledge from earlier Phase I work to enhance continuity and performance during the rehabilitation effort.
