Peace River Reservoir Expansion
The Peace River Reservoir Expansion is part of the Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority’s Water Resiliency Assurance Plan (WRAP), a long-term program focused on improving regional water supply reliability across a four-county area in Southwest Florida. The project includes development of additional alternative water supply capacity through increased pumping, expanded treatment facilities, and construction of a new off-stream raw water storage reservoir.
H2R provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services across multiple project phases. Services supported evaluation of subsurface conditions, material performance, and construction activities associated with reservoir development and supporting infrastructure. The project plays a critical role in enhancing regional water supply resiliency and meeting future demand.
