Pembroke Road Extension
The Pembroke Road Extension project in Broward County, Florida involves widening and extending a key transportation corridor to improve regional connectivity and traffic capacity. Improvements include widening Pembroke Road from SW 160th Avenue to SW 196th Avenue into a four-lane divided roadway, extending the roadway to US-27 with new bridge and culvert crossings, and extending Miramar Parkway to connect with the corridor.
H2R provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services in support of design and future construction. Services included subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, and preparation of geotechnical recommendations to support roadway, bridge, and drainage infrastructure development.
